We are looking for Biomedical Technician for Oman.
Diploma in Medical Equipment Engineering or Degree in Medical Equipment. 7 years post diploma experience with minimum of 5 years in a Hospital Biomedical Engineering Department or Renal Dialysis Unit or as a manufacturers service Engineer with 5 years’ post degree of which minimum of 2-3 years with Hospital experience.
Must be trained with minimum three (03) years post degree five (05) years post diploma experience two (02) years of which must be on patient care equipment gained either in a health care establishment or with a health care equipment manufacturer as a service Technician/ Engineer. Experience is required of but not confined to patient monitors, defibrillators, ventilators diagnostic equipment, laboratory, dental and X-ray equipment. Ability to fault find to component level on complex equipment, and read drawings is essential. Knowledge of international safety standards in relation to such equipment is essential, along with knowledge of associated test and diagnostic equipment.
